Anna is a London-based visual artist, whose practice centres on detailed, realist oil paintings.
Masters’ works draw significant inspiration from the natural world, focusing particularly on small details that are easily overlooked. Her love of pattern and design are recognisable throughout her portfolio and in her strikingly contemporary compositions. She is wonderfully skilled at creating beautiful life-like images, insects can appear so real, making the viewer want to reach out and touch them.
We love the constant metamorphis of Anna's paintings and yet she remains true to her theme. Her most recent work includes the Puzzle Series, The Leaf Beetle Painting Series and various oils paintings featuring butterflies and moths.
Having been awarded a grant by the London Arts Council, Anna has just come to the end of a hugely successful solo show at the Strand Gallery, WC2.
With her mixed media installations as well as her more traditional oil paintings, Anna's work grows more and more beautiful. Definitely one to watch........
